CSSA, HKSU, and several other organzations are holding a candlelight
vigil in memory of the people died and suffered in China earthquake.
The event will be on Sunday, June 1st at 7pm. Before that, 9am-2pm on
WTF, we will have poster show @ flagpole.

I trust everyone had a great holiday weekend. Please mark your calendar for the up-coming Sunday 6/1 evening: I am working with a group of great people from several organizations including students associations at UCI, city of Irvine, and other local associations to organize an out door Candle Light Vigil event with music performance on UCI campus on this coming Sunday - the biggest event in the region to honor the victims of the China earthquake.

Time: 7:00PM~8:00PM
Location: UC Irvine, Flag Pole, next to Admin and Library buildings. (Direction will be provided at later announcement)
I know that many of us have already made donations through various channels. Come to this candle light vigil evening to show your love & care. This event will demonstrate the caring heart of not only the Chinese community, but the people of this region. If you decide to bring your own candle, be sure to use the one with a candle holder, instead of the candle stick only. We will provide candles on site while supply lasts.
The designated time of the event is one hour from 7:00PM~8:00PM. Bring your friends & neighbors and dress warm. The youth orchestra performance is to be finalized. I will provide the detailed program soon.
